From Wishlist to Checkout: How Holiday Influencer Campaigns Actually Turn Consumer Intention into Purchases
Holiday creator campaigns need more than a product mention. Help shoppers understand who a gift suits, what it costs and whether it can arrive in time.
Answer a buying question
Ask creators to demonstrate the product, explain sizing or compatibility, or compare relevant options. Give them accurate product information and room to show how they use it.
Connect the content to the offer
Check that the linked page matches the product, price and promotion shown. Confirm stock and discount terms before publication. An unclear offer can interrupt a purchase even when the content attracts interest.
Plan around delivery cutoffs
Use delivery dates confirmed by the merchant. Stop promoting an arrival promise when the cutoff passes. Mention digital gifts or collection options only when the retailer offers them.
Measure the agreed action
Use campaign links or codes where appropriate and review the available conversion data alongside content performance. State the attribution limits. Views, likes and attributed orders answer different questions, and none guarantees a future booking.
